π¨ Illinois HOA & Condo Website Requirements Are Changing π¨
Illinois community associations are entering an important period for association websites. Beginning January 1, 2028, Illinois law requires covered common interest community associations to provide a website that owners can access online and that includes information about board and membership meetings and approved board meeting minutes. The corresponding Illinois Condominium Property Act provision similarly requires condominium associations to provide an owner-accessible website by January 1, 2028.
For Illinois associations that still rely on an outdated website, a basic email system, or a website that was built primarily as a public brochure, this creates an opportunity to build a more useful community website before the requirement takes effect.
PropertyPop builds websites around the actual needs of community associations, including secure resident access, document organization, meeting information, community communications, forms, calendars, and ongoing website management.
